However this one is unique and offers a touch of charm and history to picking up my correspondence. Being so close to the American River (count in "feet" or "meters" and within a few steps to a great pie and coffee shed, makes the whole field trip irresistible. So, I'd like to share this treat for those of you who have a particular curiosity for gold, state parks, western settlement and small enclaves close to great rivers.
